Dr. Grayson Brown

Dr. Grayson Brown, a faculty member of the University of Kentucky Department of Entomology since 1978, is currently a professor of entomology and director of the Public Health Entomology Laboratory at the university. Known for his work in IPM, modeling, and mosquito management systems, he has published more than 100 refereed publications and 18 books/chapters, received more than $3 million in competitive grants, given more than 100 professional presentations, and trained numerous Ph.D. and M.Sc. students.

Dan Moreland, publisher of PCT, is an award-winning journalist who has covered the professional pest management industry for more than three decades. A graduate of Kent State University, where he majored in journalism, Moreland has served as editor of the last three editions of the Mallis Handbook of Pest Control, as well as Rodent Control: A Practical Guide for Pest Management Professionals by Dr. Robert Corrigan. He also serves as Executive Vice-President of GIE Media, a diversified publisher of business-to-business publications based in Valley View, Ohio.

Dr. Claudia Riegel

Dr. Claudia Riegel boasts a long and distinguished career in the professional pest management industry. A graduate of Purdue University who earned her Ph.D. from the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida, Riegel is director of the City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite and Rodent Control Board. In that position, she provides technical support for the City of New Orleans and the pest control industry, conducts independent research, works closely with industry, and collaborates with government organizations and universities on research projects.

A third-generation pest management professional, Sarah Thomas-Clark is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she earned a degree in Organizational Communication. In her role as vice-president of Thomas Pest Services, she is intimately involved in sales and marketing of the company’s broad range of services, including its innovative mosquito and tick control programs.
